Gordon Oakland was a recent patient in the Sidney Health Center. His daughter Debbie Schillinger, Billings, spent a few days here with her parents.

Nicole Lynn Goulart and Aaron Arnold were married in Baker Sept. 9. Nicole is the daughter of Devra Goulart, Sidney, and Vaughn Goulart, Baker. Vaughn is the son of Eddie Goulart, Lambert. Relatives and friends attended the wedding.

A bridal shower for Jana Schillinger, fiancee of Cole Thornton, was held at the Lambert Senior Center Sept. 9.


Many parents and fans of the Lambert Lion football players traveled to Geraldine to attend the Lambert Lions vs. Geraldine Sept. 9. The Lions spent Sept. 8 in Lewistown to watch the game, Sidney vs. Lewistown.

Taylor Madison and Rilley Thiessen, Sidney, spent Sept. 8 with their grandparents Allan Susan Thiessen, Lambert. They and Angie Idoate and children, Sidney, all attended a birthday party for Riley Thiessen and her cousin Ashley Farr at the home of Tony and Leslie Thiessen in Sidney.

Relatives and friends received word of the death of a former Lambert resident, Fern (Waller) Schultz, Fosston, Minn., Saturday, Sept. 9. She was a telephone operator in Lambert for many years. She is survived by one son; four daughters; two sisters, Norma Schultz and Violet (Richey) Colbert; aunts; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Olga (Rosaaen) Waller; her husband, Marvin; one sister, Selma Lobdell; and two brothers, Orley and Vernon. Funeral services were held in Fosston, Minn., Sept. 15.

Clarence and Agnes (Storm) Sheetz, Sidney, learned of the death of their grandson Roy Allan Sheetz, 30, in Hawaii. Funeral services were in Red Lodge Sept. 14. Interment will be at a later date in Broadus.
