Wznick excels at college rodeo in goat tying event

2005 Sidney graduate Charlotte Wznick is making her mark at the regional as well as national college rodeo ranks.

As of the standings from Oct. 2, Wznick, a sophmore at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., is rated fifth in the Big Sky Region in goat tying accumulating 195 points. At the national level in the same event, she is ranked 11th. However, prior to last weekend, Wznick reached as high as the number four position nationally.

Highlighting this season for Wznick was a second-place finish Sept. 22-24 at the Miles Community College Rodeo (20.0 seconds on two head) and a fifth-place finish at the Montana State University-Northern Rodeo held Sept. 15-17 (19.3 on two).
