Presidential candidate plans meeting in Glendive

Independent Presidential Candidate RaeDeen Heupel has scheduled two "miracle meetings" for Tuesday in Room 1 of the Carney Conference Center at the Glendive Medical Center. The meetings are from 4-5 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.

Heupel encourages area citizens to share their ideas as well as listen to the "miracle" stories that are happening since her research for the presidency started.

Heupel is a strong advocate for setting goals and will give a presentation entitled, "The MIRACLE is YOU!" She has been working toward other goals on her "bucket list" while pursuing the presidency. She has completed major steps toward producing a Christian CD and is in the midst of writing her second book.

On June 20, Heupel joined a payroll in Glendive. Balanced budgets are important to Heupel so she is working toward financing trips to the Democratic and Republican National conventions. Not only is Heupel earning the necessary funds to gain more insight into the American political process but she is able to work with and serve a great group of people.

On July 7, RaeDeen and her running mate, Craig Ordahl, went to a notary public in Deadwood, S.D., for paperwork to begin circulating a petition in South Dakota. South Dakota also requires that three electors be selected and all three signatures be notarized at the same time. Only then can Heupel and Ordahl collect their 3,356 signatures in South Dakota.

When Heupel arrived home in Richey on July 8, she had received a petition which she requested earlier from Minnesota.

Heupel's goal was to be on the ballot of her permanent residence in Montana, her birth state of Minnesota, North Dakota where she was raised, and South Dakota where her father was raised. With the economy in the situation that it is, she will be happy to serve as a write-in candidate across the nation.
