SBA plans workshop in Sidney

The Small Business Administration invites the public to attend a workshop at the ARS-USDA research lab in Sidney Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Topics during the workshop will include: Information on Quick Books for your business by Tara Hill and Erin Anderson from 9:05-10 a.m.; tips on preparing your business for your 2008 tax year by Hill and Anderson from 10:15-11 a.m.; additional capital from the Richland Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund by Leslie Messer from 11 a.m. to noon; a light lunch provided from noon to 1 p.m.; preparing a business plan, a road map for your business’s success by Lorene Hintz from 1-2 p.m.; elements of a loan request from a lender’s point of view by Doug Hill from 2-2:30 p.m.; and overview of SBA products and services by John Klaman from 2:30-3 p.m.
