The game was tied at 28 in their first encounter when the Terriers scored 22 unanswered points to win the game. “I know it was the first game, I felt like we let the game get away from us. We have improved as the season has went on, but I am sure Terry has as well,” Savage coach Ben Roberts said.
Savage has shared the offensive production within its whole team. Eight different players have scored rushing touchdowns while three players have thrown touchdowns this season. Quarterback Colten Herbert has rushed for 265 yards and four touchdowns. Clayton Eskridge has rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown. Shad Stanford, Shay Stanford and Chris Reynolds have all scored two rushing touchdowns this season.

The main targets for the Warriors are Matt Trzinski, Braden Ler and Reynolds. Each have caught eight passes and have two touchdowns on the season. Ler, Trzinski and Reynolds have 139, 127 and 80 yards receiving on the season.
Herbert leads the team defensively with 67 tackles and a pair of interceptions. Ler has added 50 tackles and an interception. Reynolds has 32 tackles and a pair of interceptions. Trzinski has 36 tackles and an interception. Shay Stanford and foreign exchange student Malthe Ebbesen have brought stability to the kicking game for the Warriors with 14 point after kicks. Stanford kicked the first Savage field goal in three seasons Saturday.
The league game has major playoff implications. “This game will determine the third and fourth playoff spots. We need that third spot to get a good playoff match up,” Roberts said.
