Minister to relocate

Published on Sunday, December 14, 2008 10:01 AM MST

Dec. 27 is the day picked by Pastor David Lam to minister his last sermon in Sidney. Pastor Lam and his wife, Dollie, have been called to relocate to Jonesboro, Ark. They will install Minister Jim Harmon on Jan. 3, 2009. Harmon and his wife, Deanna, are from Savage and will move to Sidney to take over The Church of God responsibilities.

There will be a farewell party on Jan. 3 from 1-5 p.m. in the afternoon for the Lams as well as a welcome party for the Harmons. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy refreshments and fellowship with them.

While here for a short five years, the Lams along with a faithful small congregation have built a new structure, a new fellowship hall, remodeled their first home and parsonage, built a garage, and landscaped the church property. They will do the same in Jonesboro.

If you wish to send a card to either couple, the address is 814 Sixth St. N.E., Sidney, MT 59270.
