MonDak Stockgrowers presents second annual Cattle Crawl July 12 By Bill Vander WeeleSidney Herald Participants can enjoy the taste of the best beef in the area when they take part in the second annual MonDak Area Stockgrowers Association’s Cattle Crawl July 12 starting at 4 p.m. “It’s a fun event to spotlight beef in our area,” Marci Albin, one of the event’s organizers, said. The goal of the Cattle Crawl is to bring urban consumers together with producers, showcase beef while allowing consumers to visit with producers all while enjoying fabulous atmosphere and some incredible beef recipes. This event will showcase the variety and the taste beef can add to any meal at anybody’s table. Albin cautions that last year’s cattle crawl was sold out and that only 100 tickets are available. Tickets can be purchased for $60 at Stockman Bank, Wells Fargo or the Lucky Buckle. Tickets cover the meals, beverages and transportation to each location. “We’ve changed it up this year, so you have to come and see what’s different,” Albin said. The tour begins at the Cattle-ac at 4 p.m. July 12. Buses will then transport participants to the South 40 in Sidney, Double Barrel Saloon and Casino in Fairview and Outlaw’s Bar and Grill in Watford City, N.D.
