Annual golf tournament to be held Monday

The Ag Appreciation Golf Tournament will take place at the Sidney Country Club on Monday. Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the golfers will tee off at 9 a.m.

All farmers and ranchers will golf at no charge with team sponsors while other sponsors provide hole specials, prizes and carts.

The purpose of the event is for the Ag Committee to give its thanks to local ranch and farm producers for their work.

The Ag Committee puts a great deal of work into this event, so that it helps keep our agriculture industry a strong part of the community.
