Fair announces military appreciation day

The Richland County Fair is proud to announce Military Appreciation Day for Aug. 5.

In recognition of service, fair officials are asking family members of Sidney and the surrounding area to submit the name, rank and branch of service of their loved ones who previously served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces.

The Richland County Fair Committee will ensure the military personnel are recognized during our Military Appreciation Day Aug. 5.

The fair committee would also like to honor those who are currently serving overseas on Aug. 5, if they will be in Sidney, or have their spouse or immediate family members honored.

You can submit those who you wish to be recognized to the fair office at 433-2801 or e-mail: jlarson@richland.org by Aug. 1, and they will ensure those persons are recognized.
