Allen Benson, Fairview, received the J.F.T. O’Connor Community of Learners Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2009-2010 academic year.

He is the son of Bruce and Cheryl Benson. The J.F.T. O’Connor Community of Learners scholarship is awarded to students chosen for high academic ability and leadership. O’Connor, a 1907 University of North Dakota graduate, was a prominent judge and attorney.
