Junior Gold tourney to begin Friday

The annual Thanksgiving Junior Gold hockey tournament will begin Friday. The five-team tourney, which kicks off at 3 p.m. at Ranger Arena, will feature Estevan, Sask., Havre, Notre Dame, Sask., Watford City, N.D., and the home-town Richland Rangers.

The Rangers play their first game of the tourney at 8 p.m. Friday against Estevan. On Saturday, Richland will play Watford City and Notre Dame at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., respectively. Play begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Sunday's action, which will feature two games, kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Richland and Havre will square off in the final game of the tourney at 12:30 p.m.
