International livestock congress planned in Denver

Montana State University students and a Montana banker will join cattle industry professionals from around the world at the International Livestock Congress-2010 to be held Jan. 11-12 in Denver.

Tickets are being sold now for the ILC-2010, which will be held in conjunction with the National Western Stock Show, said Clint Peck, ILC co-chairman and Montana’s director of Beef Quality Assurance.

This year's theme for the ILC is “Envisioning 2020 -- Preparing for Future Global Demand.”

Cost of attending is $175 per person or $100 for students before Dec. 11. Tours are $45 per person before Dec. 11 and $65 per person after Dec 11.
