Alphonse “Al” Schmitz

Mass of the Christian Burial for Alphonse “Al” Schmitz, 93, of Charlie Creek Community is at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Sidney, with Father Greg Staudinger as presider.

Wake service will be 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 21, at the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel.

Interment will be in the St. Bernard's Cemetery, Charlie Creek Community, under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.

Al died early Friday morning, Dec. 18, 2009, at the Sidney Health Center Extended Care facility.
