The Fairview girls basketball team used a 19-1 advantage in the second quarter to pave the way to a 54-19 conference victory over the R&L Fusion Friday night.
Leading 16-6 going into the second, the Warriors took complete control of the game. Morgan Klose added two lay-ins and a three while Jordan Gifford nailed three free throws to give the Warriors a 27-6 advantage.
Stephanie Murphy added two while a pair of Gifford free throws helped Fairview take a 35-7 lead at the half.

A Gifford three gave the Warriors a 44-12 lead going into the fourth. Fusion’s Taylor Sheehan added two buckets and Laken Johnson hit a pair at the line, but the Warriors earned the 54-19 victory.
Klose led all players with 17 points. Gifford had 10. Katie Hardy added eight points while Masyn Klose added seven. Stephanie Murphy finished with six while Erica Riedel, Lexi Cayko and Morgan Taylor rounded out the scoring with two.
Trotter had eight points for the Fusion. Sheehan added four while Johnson had three. Olson and Sarah Jensen finished with two.
