Health care proponents should take on other issues

Sidney

Since reading the Sidney Herald Nov. 11 editorial “Viewpoint” by your owners, the Wick brothers (“… Pass Health Care Reform” urging nationalized health care support), I have been impatiently waiting for more heavy thought from them.

As pitchmen for Obama, they did a wonderful job of parroting the promises (i.e. lies) of free, voluntary, quality health care for all Americans and especially for those who are illegal aliens. In fact, they claim their multi-trillion dollar plan will not only pay for itself but reduce our national debt (lines 26-31)! Now who could argue against that, for Allah’s sake?

It seems to me we hear plenty about those crazy, angry Tea Party mobs that are bent on disrupting this finely-tuned, well-greased, fraud-laden, self-serving governmental process...but very few individuals are like Bob and Walt – bravely standing to defend this administration that works so tirelessly for the good of all “its Mao-lovin’, Che-lovin” Czars.

Only by the valiant efforts of the president and his hands-in-our-pocket Congress could we have been blessed with such multi-billion dollar boondoggles as a “Green Jobs” bill that was crafted without the help of a single businessmen’s group (e.g. Chamber of Commerce, the NFIB, and the nation’s Manufacturers Association) and has netted us a resounding 11-plus percent unemployment and growing! I say “let’s give them another $400-500 billion to fritter away via insider graft and corruptio.” [FYI - GAO reports the taxpayers’ cost equals over $413,000 per person per job for the first year. Gee – do you think there are any more unemployed Americans who would like to hire-on for $400,000 per year?]

I doubt the snobs on Capital Hill are through with forced health care yet, so maybe the Wick boys should give that a rest. How about the anti-business Cap and Trade legislation in light of Climate-Gate (phony global warming)?...or the wildly non-successful trillion dollar stimulus bill (since another is on its way)? How about touching on the advantages of lies and bribery?

So give those boys a shout! Let’s read more of their humor.

Here's an idea; pony-up your ideas to fix the mess we're in, instead of laying around whining all the time. "

" There sure seems to be quite a few angry Republicans out there but why are you still angry? Health Care Reform has pretty much been defeated and now it will be called Health Insurance Reform but not to Worry John and Ethel, Rich folks will still be Rich, in fact they'll probably be Richer and Poor people will still be Poor and probably Poorer so all is still right with America. " @Katie: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

You have shown me that some readers of this paper are not blind dim-witted racists.

I myself have tired of this 'your only a terrorist if your Muslim' stuff that is spewed across this paper.

Thank you once again Katie. "

" i love how conservatives always equate being muslim to being terrorist. MUSLIMS COME IN ALL COLORS AND ETHNICITIES, AND SO DO TERRORISTS. stop assuming every terrorist is a muslim, and every muslim is a terrorist. neither is true. "

    " @ethel

you forgot the part you hate most, him being black.

WE are not at war with muslims, we are at war with terrorists, keep that in mind before you spew more of your conservative garbage across the internet, then kenyan grandmother cannot be proven, probably a paid actress by the GOP.

a birth certificate is proof enough for most presidents, i guess it's different when they are black.

he's actually no longer muslim, studied it in an indonesian school (by the way, i've seen the transfer manuscript, that also states he was born in hawaii, so apparently this coverup you speak of started several decades ago). as you know he was part of the 'GD america' church group, and if he was muslim he wouldn't go to a christian church.

oh and he bowed to a leader of the muslim religion, and as i started we are not at war with muslims, the act of a president starting a religious war would not only be unconstitutional but treason.

and lets not forget that prior to 9/11 there was proof that bin laden was going to attack the US with planes but the former administration ignored it.

but i am wise enough to know that one cannot show the truth to those who are blind and delusional, so my time here is wasted as much as debating with a wall. "

" John, excellent post. Well-written and accurate.

Loling, Your post is difficult to understand, but I'll take a shot at responding anyway.

A minimum of Obama's exposure since 2004 proves that, without a doubt, this is someone who soared from being a Chicago community organizer to president of the United States of America.

Because he flatly refuses to prove his identity and has a checkered personal past re: birth, name, education, residency, political affiliations, fleets of attorneys on our tax payroll sealing all evidence, the natural assumption would be that he is of virgin birth. Therefore, he does not qualify for our presidency. He has to be considered an illegal alien because of his father and birth somewhere in the Middle East.

His actions since 2004 are being diluted from public media, but he was making statements he will not now acknowledge nor deny.

Fact: Obama Hussein Obama, Barry Oatero (sp), and a multitude of variations. Kenyan step-grandmother insists she was at his birth in Kenya, a British colony at the time. Definite lack of proof of Hawaiian birth. Attended Muslim school in Indonesia, a passionate student.

After that, raised by white grandparents and mentored by Frank Davis, communist.

He alienates our allies, bows to our enemies. The terrorists we fight now are Muslim.

In the interest of space, whoever is in our White House is an illegal alien Marxist Muslim puppet for the new world order. He has to destroy America to establish denomination for the globalists.

    Now, explain racism. "

loling wrote on Feb 3, 2010 9:42 AM:

" ah yes it would seem that our time would be better spent lie your with name calling mud slinging not to mention the reference made to islam hinting at those that have a differant view from you is a terrorist... OF COURSE from the sound of it i'd bet he this was done in the last administration your view point would be flopped "
