Dollars for Scholars

The Sidney chapter of Dollars for Scholars phone-a-thon is Monday and Tuesday from 5:45-8 p.m. Every dollar contributed is given out in scholarships.

If you are interested in helping out Sidney youth and your own children to fund higher education by giving your time, please contact Kelly Johnson at Sidney Middle School, 433-4050, or e-mail kjohnson@sidney.k12.mt.us as soon as possible.

Pancake feed

The Knights of Columbus will have a pancake and sausage feed from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 16 (Fat Tuesday) at St. Matthew’s Parish Center. Proceeds help pay for two $500 scholarships to two area graduating seniors.

Soccer registration

Registration for soccer, ages 5 years through 12th grade, is Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. upstairs of the hockey facility. Cost is $35 per player.

Kindergarten registration

Sidney’s kindergarten will have an open house/registration Wednesday at 2 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. at West Side School.

The event is a great hands-on experience for you and your child to get ready for kindergarten in the fall.

Parenting class

A parenting class meets from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday at the Sidney-Richland County Public Library. If you have a child between the ages of 1 and 4, this class is for you.

Come learn quick and easy tips for successful parenting. This class is the first of three classes.
