Free H1N1 flu vaccinations Thursday

The Richland County Health Department will be in Fairview on Thursday at the Fairview School old gym. Free H1N1 flu vaccinations will begin at 8:30 a.m. for students and staff; then open to the general public at 9:30 a.m.

General public is for anyone ages 6 months old and older. Children, ages 9 and under, need two vaccinations separated by at least four weeks.

The vaccination is free, but a consent form is required to be completed before receiving vaccine.

The consent form may be picked up at the event or printed off the Web site ahead of time and brought with.

Go to www.richland.org/health to print off the consent form. Call the health department with questions at 433-2207.
