Savage def. R&L 54-45
The Savage boys basketball team put together an efficient effort to outlast a feisty R&L squad Tuesday night in Richey. The Warriors earned a 54-45 conference victory.

Braden Ler led Savage with 16 points while Chris Reynolds finished with 15. Shad Stanford had eight while Matt Trzinski, Colin Basta and Wyatt Hagler rounded out the scoring with five points each.
Charlie Switzer led all players with 17 points. Cameron Johnson finished with 10 while Jeremy Evenson added five points. Jack Switzer had four while Jared Rosaaen and Caleb Servais had three points. Chris Gomke added two while Levi Helmuth added a point.
Girls
Savage def. R&L
Four quarters wasn’t enough for the Savage and R&L girls basketball teams Tuesday night. The Warriors earned a 44-40 conference victory on the road against a solid Fusion squad.
The game was tied 9-9 after the first, but the Warriors outscored R&L by six in the second to take a 19-13 lead at the half. Savage took a 25-21 lead into the fourth quarter, but the Fusion tied the game up at 36 at the end of the regulation. Savage outscored the Fusion 8-4 in overtime to pull out the 44-40 victory.
Stephanie Nollmeyer led Savage with 15 points. Bridger Rice added 10 while LaToya Neiffer and Payton Phillippi added six points. Hanna Jepsen and Shanae Prevost had three points. Brittany Smtih added a point.
Jennifer Trotter led all players with 20 points. Sarah Jensen and Alexis Johnson finished with five while Lindsay Zuroff and Jamie Rosaaen added four points. Anna Prevost rounded out the scoring with two points.
