Fairview boxing club travels to Minnesota

The Fairview boxing club traveled to East Grand Forks, Minn., Feb. 20. The event featured teams from Winnipeg, Man., Williston, N.D., Grafton, N.D., and Devils Lake, N.D.

Brett Andreasen fell to Grafton’s Jason Garza in a decision at 90 pounds. Brady Kortes lost a decision to Winnipeg’s Brad Katona at 135 pounds. Scott Andreasen lost to Williston’s Josh Mortashed in a decision at 150 pounds.

“All our fighters ended up losing, but I thought everyone fought very well. We faced some real tough competition,” Fairview coach Kirby Sundheim said.
