Spelling Bee

The Richland County Spelling Bee is March 13 at West Side School in Sidney.

Registration for the classroom bee will start at 9 a.m., and the bee will start at 9:30 a.m. The county bee is open to any Richland County student in grades fifth through eighth. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and the bee will start at 11 a.m.

Concert at church

The Waddington Family, Regent, N.D., will perform country gospel and bluegrass music at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Fairview Alliance Church.

Fish frys

Sidney Knights of Columbus will have fish frys Fridays during Lent from 5-7 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Parish Center. Cost is $8 for adults and $30 for families.

Red Hatters meet

The Richland Red Hatters will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. March 11 at Millers’ Corner. R.S.V.P. by March 9 to Corrine, 488-7392, or Lynda, 482-3414.

Computer instruction

“Installing, Managing and Troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 R2” is offered March 15-16 at the Sidney High School library’s technology lab. The two-day course, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, will be instructed by Mark Minasi, author of “The Expert Guide to Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2.

A course fee of $1,000 total may be paid in advance by mailing a check payable to Richland County, 201West Main, Sidney, MT 59270. For more information, contact Zachary Yockim, county chief technology officer, 480-6789.
