Transportation service offers rides to health fair

Published on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 3:16 PM MST

The Richland County Transportation Service wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this year’s health fair.

In an effort to make sure that happens, the transportation service is offering rides to and from the fair for residents in Sidney, Fairview, Lambert and Savage on a donation-only basis.

To take advantage of this, you can simply call 433-RIDE (7433) by Monday and schedule your ride.

The following are tentative times for buses in the outlying areas can be found below:

• Depart Fairview at 10 a.m., depart health fair at 12:30 p.m., depart Savage at 11 a.m., depart health fair at 1:30 p.m., depart Lambert at noon, depart health fair at 2:30 p.m.

While visiting this year’s health fair, be sure to stop by the transportation service’s booth and learn about our transit development plan that is currently taking place. This is a great opportunity to let the transportation service know what they can do to make the service more valuable to you.

The transportation service’s goal is to help increase attendance at the health fair by offering the rides.
