Two juveniles from Lambert were injured in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning allegedly due to falling asleep at the wheel.
The Montana Highway Patrol reported Monday that a 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old girl were driving east from Wolf Point toward Sidney on Highway 200 at approximately 12:30 a.m. The patrol said the driver of the 1982 GMC pickup allegedly fell asleep causing the vehicle to drift off the road. By the time she woke up, it was too late to correct it and the vehicle crashed.
Jamie Rosaaen, 17, and Taylor Sheehan, 16, both sustained injuries and were transported to Sidney Health Center for treatment. Health Center officials reported Monday that Rosaaen was treated and released, and Sheehan was stabilized and transported to Billings Clinic, Billings, where she remains in intensive care.
