Turn clocks ahead

Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday. So remember to turn your clocks an hour ahead before you go to bed Saturday night.

Spelling Bee

The Richland County Spelling Bee is Saturday at West Side School in Sidney.

Registration for the classroom bee will start at 9 a.m., and the bee will start at 9:30 a.m. The county bee is open to any Richland County student in grades fifth through eighth. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and the bee will start at 11 a.m.

Family performance

The Sidney Performing Arts Council and the Northeastern Arts Network present a family performance weaving the story of Australia’s history and people with songs, stories and music of the didjeridoo on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center. .

Transportation meeting

Richland County Public Transportation will hold a public meeting from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Sidney-Richland County Public Library. The meeting will feature discussion on how the bus system serves the community. If you need a ride, call 433-RIDE before 4 p.m.

Women of the West

The first day of the Women of the West Conference is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center. The second day of the Women of the West Conference is at 1-4 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center. The event is free.

Mini-Eaglettes show

The Sidney Mini-Eaglettes Extravaganza is set for Monday at 6 p.m. at the Sidney High School gym.

Admission is $5.
