named to All-Conference team

The District 2-C All-Conference boys basketball team has been announced.

Fairview seniors Josh Taylor and Ty Hurley, R&L juniorJeremy Evenson, Savage sophomore Shad Stanford and Culbertson seniors Wenden Martell and Alex Weeks were named to the first team.

Fairview sophomore Tim Hurley and freshman Brock Schriver, Savage sophomore Braden Ler and Culbertson senior Jackson Bolstad were named to the second team.

Fairview senior Colby McGinnis and Culbertson junior Nick Oelkers made the All-Confernece defensive first team. Taylor, Evenson, Savage junior Matt Trzinski and Culbertson senior Fred Lester made the second defensive team.

Also earning first team honors were Circle’s Brock Loudon and Ike Hill, Westby-Grenora’s Taylor Nielsen and Froid-Lake’s Paul Engstrom.

Brockton’s Jason Bird, Froid-Lake’s Michael O’Toole, Circle’s Bryan Gardner and Westby-Grenora’s Colton Hellegaard made the second team.

Hill, Loudon and Froid-Lake’s Brady Bernston made the first defensive team. Reiter made the second defensive team.
