Sidney wrestlers compete well on road

The Sidney Wrestling Club had a busy weekend. A group of fifth- through eighth-grade boys traveled to Lewistown.

Fifth-sixth grade

First: Riley Chatterton, 65 pounds; fourth, Christian Eggar, 110 pounds; sixth, Hunter Nice, 130 pounds.

Seventh-eighth grade

First: Wyatt Van Buren, 65 pounds; Trace Jones, 75 pounds; Gresh Jones, 95 pounds, Jordan Stevens, 115 pounds; second, Dace Fisher, 160 pounds; fourth, Trevor Dean, 65 pounds; Ryan Chatterton, 85 pounds; sixth, Cody Christian, 120 pounds.

Also competing at the tournament were Casey Christian, Parker Dean, Cristian Gomez, Brady Gorder and Josh Alexander.

These wrestlers, along with some of their younger and older brothers traveled to Billings on Sunday to compete at the Billings Heights tournament. Results are as follow:

Tot

Second: Brodie Gorder, 40 pounds; Zander Dean, 40 pounds.

Midget

Second: Trevor Dean, 65 pounds; fourth, Jett Jones, 70 pounds.

Novice

First: Trace Jones, 75 pounds; Parker Dean, 80 pounds; Riley Chatterton, 65 pounds; fourth, Trent Desjarlais, 90 pounds; fifth, Casey Christian, 85 pounds.

Schoolboy

First: Wyatt Van Buren, 70 pounds; Gresh Jones, 95 pounds; second, Christian Gomez, 185 pounds; third, Cody Christian, 120 pounds; Ryan Chatterton, 85 pounds; fifth, Brady Gorder, 100 pounds.

Cadet

Second: Dace Fisher, 160 pounds; Josh Alexander, 200 pounds.

Elite

First: Brennan Gorder, 130 pounds.
