Informative programs scheduled at Crestwood

Published on Friday, March 19, 2010 5:59 PM MDT

Judy Johnson, Richland Extension agent, will present information provided by Marsha Goetting, MSU Extension family economics specialist.

Each program will last approximately 20 minutes followed by questions. The programs will start at 3 p.m. at the Crestwood Inn dining room.

The first meeting is Tuesday. The topic is “Letter of Last Instruction” – Does your family, friend or personal representative know where documents and important information are located so that your affairs can be settled quickly and easily? This program will explain what information should be in a letter of last instruction to assist survivors after your death.

On March 30, the topic is “What are your Rights Over your Remains?” Do you have special wishes for your remains you want carried out? The 2009 legislature passed the Montana Right of Disposition Act that allows a person to provide instructions for disposing of his or her remains or to designate an agent with authority to make such decisions.
