The District 2-C girls basketball All-Conference team has been announced. Ten players made the first team, eight were named to the second team while five players made the first and second defensive teams.
Katie Hardy, Morgan Klose and Jordan Gifford all members of the state champion Fairview squad were named to the All-Conference first team.
Hardy is a 6-0 senior post player who provided size and strength inside for the Warriors.

Klose is a 5-7 junior guard who handled the point guard duties this season for Fairview.
“I told Morgan at the end of the season how proud I was of her. She came such a long way since last year,” he said. “Offensively, there were time s where she could have scored a lot more, but she got her teammates involved and did what she needed for us to be more successful.”
Gifford is a 5-6 sophomore guard who added solid defense and nice outside shooting to the squad this year.
“Jordan was huge for us this season. You know exactly what you’re going to get with her,” Thompson said. “She was one of our most consistent players on both sides of the ball. Jordan is just a very well-rounded player.”
Savage’s Bridger Rice was also named to the first team. The sophomore post player provided a solid inside presence for the Warriors.
“Bridger’s height and strength were definitely assets for us. She can play several different positions and runs the court well. Bridger is only going to get better with experience,” Savage coach Staci Lange-Rice said.
R&L’s Jennifer Trotter made the first team. Trotter, a junior, has been named All-Conference three times. She is a versatile player who can handle the ball and provide strength inside.
Culbertson sophomore post players Bailey Nickoloff and Caitlin Hofman also made the first team.
Fairview’s Stephanie Murphy, who transferred in from Charlo this summer, was named to the second team. Murphy is a senior post player who is strong inside.
“Stephanie brought such physicality and rebounding to her team. Her defense was huge for us. We are very thankful she came here,” he said.
Savage’s Stephanie Nollmeyer is a senior guard who was named to the second team. Nollmeyer provided strong defense for the Warriors.
“Stephanie was one of our seniors this season. She brought a lot of experience and the knowledge of the game helped us a lot. Her passion for the game was an asset,” Lange-Rice said.
R&L’s Alexis Johnson and Anna Prevost were named to the second team. Johnson is a freshman post player who is strong inside while Prevost is a scrappy senior guard.
Culbertson junior Janae Reynen also made the second team.
Fairview’s Gifford and Murphy made the first defensive team along with R&L’s Trotter.
Savage’s Rice, Fairview’s Hardy and Klose and Culbertson’s Hofman made the second defensive team.
