The high-point winners for the Sidney Tiger Sharks at the divisional meet in Lewistown were from left, Vannessa Bawden, Torey Dahl, Keane Fink, Alec Lovegren and Marcus Lovegren.
The Sidney swim team defended its divisional title Saturday and Sunday in Lewistown at the Eastern Swim Federation divisional meet. Using a strong team effort, the Tiger Sharks won the meet with 1048 points topping Lewistown and Malta with 752 and 667 points, respectively.
“I was ecstatic about how the team did at divisionals; they really kicked it in on Sunday,” first-year head coach MaKayla Fink said.
The Tiger Sharks will be looking for their ninth state title in 10 years Saturday and Sunday at the state meet in Conrad.
