Girl Scout registration

Girl Scouts 2010-2011 fall registration is Tuesday, 5:30-7 p.m., in the hall on first floor at Central School. Use the Fourth Avenue Boys & Girls Club entrance. Call Jeana Barnhart, 480-2190, or Deb Rassier, 480-9236, with questions.

Parenting class

Parenting class is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Richland County. Come learn tips, tricks and techniques for successful parenting. Dinner and childcare provided.

Schipman benefit

A benefit to help with medical expenses for Katy Hurley Schipman, daughter of Mike and Mary Hurley, is at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 at Water Hole #3 in Fairview. A free-will donation for the roast beef dinner will be accepted along with a live auction and silent auction. Schipman has been diagnosed with a rare kidney disorder.

Gymnastics

The Sidney Gymnastics program will have registration from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at the gym located three miles north of Sidney on Highway 16. Classes start Sept. 13.

Fall dinner

St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Savage, has its fall dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19. Menu includes turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, dressing and homemad pies.

MOPS meet

MOPS, Mothers of PreSchoolers, meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 8:45-11 a.m. at Sidney Lutheran Brethren Church. The first meeting of the fall is Tuesday.
