Immunization clinic
The Richland County Health Department has added services to the Extended Hours Immunization Clinic. On the second Wednesday of each month, family planning, WIC, home visiting and car seat check services will be available from 5-6 p.m. This is in addition to the normal clinic hours of noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.
Family planning, WIC and home visiting will be by appointment only, so please call early and schedule your appointment. For questions regarding these services or your child’s immunization status, please call 433-2207.

Sidney Jaycees will host the local Punt, Pass and Kick Competition Friday at 6 p.m. at Swanson Field (SHS football field). Both boys and girls ages 6-15 can compete. The child cannot wear football cleats of any kind. Please bring a photo copy of the child’s birth certificate to the competition. 9/11 dinner
The Moose Lodge will hold a 9/11 dinner Friday from 6-8 p.m. The spaghetti dinner will include salads and garlic bread. All proceeds will go to the law enforcement in honor and memory of those who served and gave their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Schipman benefit
A benefit to help with medical expenses for Katy Hurley Schipman, daughter of Mike and Mary Hurley, is at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Water Hole #3 in Fairview. A free-will donation for the roast beef dinner will be accepted along with a live auction and silent auction. Schipman has been diagnosed with a rare kidney disorder.
