Historical landmark home owners pride and joy

A dream come true…Justin and Tammy Jones always loved the home of their family friends Rocky and Martha Gorder, and they recently got the opportunity to make it their own. In July of this year the Jones’ purchased the historical landmark that was built in 1912 by Dr. Beagle. Dr. Beagle lived in the house for six years before selling it to his best friend Mr. Varco. The Varco family owned the home for 54 years. In 1972, the property was sold to Gene and Pepper Sattler and the Dave Oehmcke family lived there until 1996 when Rocky and Martha Gorder bought the home and restored it to its original glory.

The project provides irrigation water to 52,133 acres of fertile land lying along the west bank of the Yellowstone River.
