Bats of Yellow Jackets too much for Patriots
Perennial powerhouse Wolf Point came to town Thursday to face off against the Richland County legion team. The Yellow Jackets used efficient hitting, accurate pitching and solid defense to pick up a pair of conference victories against the Patriots.

| Walking to Wellness half marathon | |

Walking to Wellness is a low key event for the novice or casual athlete who wishes to reach a new personal fitness challenge. Participants are invited to walk a half marathon (13.1 miles) course, with 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) events offered for children or others who may not be able to walk the full distance. The event will be timed for general information, but is not a race - no places or prizes will be awarded. Participants are advised to start walking now; consider working up to walking 7-8 miles weekly over the winter, and to step into a focused two week training program that will be published in the Sidney Herald in late March.
