Cody Vitt rushed for 218 yards and Scott Andreasen scored four touchdowns as Fairview Warriors crushed Circle 76-12 in Eastern C football action Friday night.
The Warriors accounted for 28 points in the first quarter and 20 in the second period for a 48-6 half-time advantage.
Andreasen raced for three touchdowns in the opening quarter on runs of two, one and 75 yards. Fairview’s other score of the first quarter came on a 53-yard dash by Vitt.
Fairview went to the air for its first touchdown of the second quarter as Brock Schriver connected with Justin Bieber on a 10-yard pass. Other touchdowns in the quarter were scored by Schriver on a 15-yard run and Cody Shelmerdine on a two-yard fumble recovery.
The undefeated Warriors added three touchdowns in the third quarter on a 39-yard run by Vitt, a 14-yard pass from Monte Cayko to Jered Dahl and a 32-yard run by Andreasen.
Fairview’s final touchdown of the night was scored byt Alex Taylor on a 34-yard run.
The Warriors rushed for 428 yards led by Vitt’s 218 and Andreasen’s 64 yards.
Schriver and Cayko passed for a combined 33 yards. Kyle Shelmerdine, Dahl, Andreasen and Bieber each caught passes.
Defensive leaders included Riley Reynolds with 11 tackles, Logan Kjos with nine tackles, Jordan Dahle with nine tackles and Jace Taylor with eight tackles. Dahle, C. Shelmerdine and Andreasen made fumble recoveries.
The Warriors can clinch first place when they host St. Labre on Friday.
