The Richland County Food Bank, located at 123 E Main St., is open Monday and Thursday by appointment only.

The Richland County Food Bank has released statistics for August and September 2021.

In August, the food bank served 59 adults, 33 children and 15 families. The food bank distributed 2,723 pounds of food during the month and received only 1,119 pounds of food.

In September, the food bank served 82 adults, 39 children and 18 families. The food bank distributed 2,964 pounds of food in September and received 869 pounds of food.

Year to date, the food bank has served 547 adults, 274 children and 126 families. They have distributed 24,667 pounds of food and received 11,137 pounds of food.

The food bank is in need of mandarin oranges, peanut butter, canned peas, instant milk and clean grocery bags.

The food bank is open by appointment on Monday and Thursday.

The Richland County Food Bank is a 501-C3 non-profit organization serving all of Richland County. The food bank relies on the generous donations from the community and support from the Richland County Commissioners.
