Kimberly Kauffman

Kimberly Kauffman will participate in the Mrs. Montana Pageant in Billings Saturday.

Sheree Lynch, Montana’s state director for the Mrs. Montana Pageant, is announcing that Kimberly Kauffman has been selected as Mrs. Sidney-America 2012. She will represent her community in the 36th Annual Mrs. Montana Pageant to be held Saturday at the Petro Theatre in Billings.

The winner of the pageant will receive a prize package valued at more than $8,000 and will advance to compete in the national Mrs. America Pageant.

Celebrating its 36th year, the Mrs. America Pageant is the only nationally televised beauty competition to recognize one person who contributes so much to modern family life: America’s married woman!

“I am excited to be representing the community of Sidney in the Mrs. Montana Pageant,” Kauffman said. “I was born and raised in Montana. I married my high school sweetheart, Joe Kauffman.  We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this August. We have four wonderful children, one boy and three girls. Our children receive an education at home with a Biblical foundation. Also, we own Big Sky Surveying, PC here in Sidney.”

She added, “I decided to run for in the Mrs. Montana Pageant after reading a book by Joyce Meyer and from talking to a friend who ran two years in a row for Mrs. Montana. I really felt like then, God put it on my heart to run. I feel that I will make a good finalist in the pageant based on being a great example of wife with almost 20 years of marriage and being blessed to be at home and raising our four children. The pageant will be based on interview, swimsuit and evening gown.”

She says she loves to bake and cook, “My family enjoys having homemade bread.  I make all our meals from scratch. I am a very health and holistic conscience person. I strive for a healthy family. I enjoy reading religious, health and nutrition books. I also enjoy hunting, swimming, camping, traveling and spending time as a family. My daily talents are to strive to be a Godly woman, wife, mother, teacher, doctor, referee, problem solver, comforter, cook, taxi and secretary.”

She thank all the businesses who helped sponsor her in the adventure to run as Mrs. Sidney America. “This community has been very supportive and a blessing to our family in helping to off-set pageant expenses.”
