TOURNEY TRAIL.  With ice coming off area lakes, the upcoming stretch is primed for spring fishing derbies and tournaments.  Check out all the permitted events at the NDG&F tournament listing.

PRAIRIE WATERS.  The VCSU Prairie Waters program has two great workshops for young anglers and explorers set for June. Those entering 5th and 6th grade can sign up to explore prairie waters June 17-19 and those entering 7th and 8th grade can check out prairie fisheries June 24-26.

WARMTH & WIND.  The next week will bring increasing warmth along with significant winds after Monday.  Instability returns next weekend with a small chance for rain headed into Saturday.
