LET’S WALK.  Great conditions for hiking and getting in shape for the upcoming hunting season abound this week, straight into the weekend. Get out there, get some miles on and enjoy this nice stretch perfect for fishing or hunting prep and any outdoor activity. OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

ALLIED.  The Badlands Conservation Alliance looks to preserve the historic and scenic area of western North Dakota.  Celebrating 20 years of conservation, the group is working to protect the open and rugged nature of the buttes and valleys of the noted stretch of land synonymous with the Roughrider State

TOURN STYLE.  Four events are on tap on Lake Sakakwea this weekend and two on Devils Lake.  Of note is the Dakota Walleye Classic out of Beulah Bay and the Bandlands Bass Bandits’ search for smallies on Sak.

FIXERS.  Four adhesives to stash in any boat tool box, that don’t take up much room and get any job done are: duct tape, electrician’s tape, super glue and marine caulk. There should be nothing that can go unfixed with these options at hand in a small, waterproof storage container.
