CRUSH ON.  The ND State High School Clay Target League State Championship wrapped with some more great shooting in windy conditions that tested the best of participants.  We’ve got it covered in today’s Outdoors Roundup.

LEAD LADIES.  In Class 2A ND CTL State Championship competition, Cassidy Lipelt of Legacy High School captured the title of top Female Varsity shooter with a total of 95.  She was followed by Emma Jordet of Red River (90) and Jenna Thompson of Mandan (89).

GOOD GUYS. South Prairie High’s Lathan Stroklund took the 2A Varsity Male title at the Class 2A State Championship with a total of 98.  Isaac Piseno of Red River (97) claimed second, while Valley City’s Blake Didier rounded out the top 3 with a total of 96.

OVERALL AWESOME. Sheyenne High School claimed top honors at the State Championship with a total of 471. Followed by South Prairie (466) and Red River (459) High Schools.  For final results from ND and other states, visit
