Parents, teachers and administrators gathered recently for the annual Academic Banquet, where new National Honor Society members were inducted and students achieving a 3.5 GPA or better for three straight quarters were recognized by the Lions Club.

Officers of the National Honor Society were introduced as ASB Representative Brooke Franklin, Historian Kaitlyn Keithley, Treasurer Wyatt Heringer, Secretary Caleb Slade, Vice-president/President-elect Elizabeth Reynolds and President Cammy Heck. 

Members of National Honor Society must be incoming juniors or seniors and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. They must also exhibit high standards of character, leadership and service, in addition to the scholarship requirement.

Newly inducted members of National Honor Society included: James Allen, Lorraine Coronato, Maddie Peters, Jaylen Baxter, Brianna Brost, Ecriselia Flores, Claire Frank, Jaxson Franklin, Hadley Garsjo, Sarah Karanjai, Serenity Kuntz, Ali Merritt, Brooke Morrill, Boston Peters, Daniel Schneider, Hudson Severson and Emma Wick. 

Senior members of NHS include Lauren Beenken, MaKenzie Bjork, Kylee Byer, Josh Delaney, Tianna Earle, Brooke Franklin, Cammy Heck, Wyatt Heringer, Kaitlyn Keithley, Shanyn Reidle, Abigail Reitz, Lilli Seitz, Caleb Slade, Carlee Strasheim and Jace Winter.

Junior members include Jenna Baxter, Erin Erickson, Ashlynn Kessel, Cooper McGlothlin, Maysen Mindt, Zoe Morrill, Elizabeth Reynolds, Shea Roberts, Ximena Rosas, Will Steinbeisser, Riley Thiessen, Nicolas Trevino and Christine Turek.
