According to a release by Stephanie Ler of the Richland County Health Department is announcing 50 additional cases of COVID-19 in a Richland County resident, the release of 43 cases, and three confirmed COVID-19 related deaths. There are currently 54 active cases in Richland County.
The deaths occurred in a female in her 90’s; a male in his 80’s, and a male in his 70’s.
The cases and releases have occurred between Nov. 2-8.
The total case count for Richland County is at 1,903, with 1,825 of the total cases recovered. There have now been a total of 24 deaths associated with COVID-19 in the county.
A breakdown of the newly reported cases is as follows:
Half (25) of the cases were male and half (25) were female. All 50 cases were symptomatic. Only one person was hospitalized. Five of the cases were between 0-9 years old; seven were between 10-19 years old; three were between 20-29 years old; 15 were between 30-39 years old; nine were between 40-49 years old; nine were between 50-59 years old; and two were between 60-69 years old.
