The Froid-Lake Red Hawks surprised Fairview’s boys basketball squad by a 48-43 score in overtime on Friday.

Froid-Lake outscored the Warriors by a 12-7 margin in the extra period.

The Warriors took a 16-4 lead in the first quarter, but Froid-Lake battled back to 18-14 at the half.

The Red Hawks tied the game at 26-26 at the end of the third quarter.

Fairview’s top scorers were Josh Herron with 16, Alex Schriver with 11 and Cody Asbeck with 10 points. Luke Lebsock added six points.

Colt Miller led Froid-Lake with 20 points and Javonne Nesbit scored 13 points.
