The Fairview Warriors split their league basketball contest against Circle at home on Thursday night.
Fairview’s boys gained a 21-3 lead in the first quarter and won by a 67-21 final.
The Warriors led by a 34-6 margin at the end of the first half.
Reaching double figures for Fairview were Cody Asbeck with 17 and Alex Schriver with 13 points.
Also scoring were Gerit Johnson with seven, Lak Kloker with six, Paul Hardy with four, Brady Buxbaum with four, Josh Herron with four, Kaden Skogas with three, Jesse Selting with three, Trevor Karst with two and Kanyon Taylor with two.
Grady Taylor led Circle with nine points. Calder Fleming added five points.
Circle’s girls fought off Fairview by a 39-35 final.
Fairview held a 17-15 half-time lead but trailed 25-19 at the end of the third quarter.
Jadyn Gackle accounted for 18 of Fairview’s points. Also scoring were Emily Axtman with six, Bailey Seader with four, Megan Asbeck with three, Hanna Skov with three and Macy Seadeek with one.
Circle’s top scorers were Ryann Moline with 14 and Mavitza Codieas with 10 points. Brooke Bartelson and Katelyn Fritz added five points each.
