Plentywood held Savage to 10 first-half points and downed the Warriors, 58-25, in boys basketball action on Friday.

Plentywood jumped out to a 16-6 lead in the first quarter as Jaxson Pedersen scored nine in the period. The Wildcats led 28-10 at the half and 42-13 at the end of three quarters.

Sloan McPherson accounted for 12 of Savage’s points. Also scoring were Sterling Thiel with four, Gage Bloesser with four, Gentry Conradsen with three and Caesen Erickson with two.

Plentywood’s top scorers were Alex Wiens with 15 and Pedersen with 14 points.
