For the second time in three years, the Richland Rangers’ Junior Gold team brought home the consolation trophy from the Moorhead Junior Gold Tournament. 

On Friday, the Rangers beat Prior Lake, Minn., by a  6-4 final. 

On Saturday in pool play, the Rangers suffered losses to Grand Forks, N.D., and Elk River, Minn. 

On Sunday, the Rangers beat Moorhead for the consolation trophy by a score of 6-4. 

 River went on to win the championship. 

The Rangers will be home this weekend for three league games. The Rangers play Northwood at 7 p.m. Friday, Friday, Grand Forks at 6 p.m. Saturday and Fargo at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
